Direct Services
Our Direct Services program provides emergency one time prescription assistance and fuel assistance for out of town appointments along with equipment repairs, medical supplies and orthotic devices. Help is based on need and those with physical disabilities will be considered first.

Do you have a wheelchair or other piece of medical equipment sitting around? The Loan Closet provides medical equipment at no charge. Whether it's a hospital bed, a bedside commode, a walker, a cane, a wheelchair, a lift or a bath bench. Last year our organization loaned out over 400 pieces of medical equipment. The DSRC saved Bay County Residents over $150,000 in rental fees for durable medical goods in 2008. The need grows every year. Equipment is loaned free of charge and individuals may keep the equipment for as long as they need it.

Do you have a wheelchair or other piece of medical equipment sitting around?
We will take your donated item and put it to good use. Clean, usable equipment in good condition is always welcomed.

As a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, we assist Bay County residents and their families in finding and making effective use of available resources related to their disability. Founded in 1933, the organization strives to help individuals with disabilities become accepted members of their community to the fullest extent of their capabilities.
