There is real value in the therapeutic and socialization benefits of participating in sports – the strengthening of participant’s self-esteem and the disciplines of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. We supply an opportunity for disabled people to participate fully in sports regardless of their personal limitations and/or ability. It is our goal to get our disabled children and adults off the sidelines and into the game. DSRC sponsors a bowling league and a baseball program called ACES.
Our Bowling league runs from October to April at Alert Lanes in Essexville. ACES – All Children Experience Sports program was founded in 2002 and has hosted softball for children ages 6 to 18.
If you would like to join our bowling league or baseball team please contact the office at 989-895-5444.
